I’m switching off from everything... except for my route!
Learn how to prepare your activities with precision and navigate them safely
Hello! I’m Lena Berger, I’m 47 years old and a keen mountain explorer.
This weekend I’ve set myself the challenge of discovering a new area that I’ve been wanting to explore for some time. I don’t know it, so I want to prepare my route without complications and with the peace of mind of knowing that everything is under control. I’ll do it using the tools of the TwoNav Ecosystem.
I’m going to explain my tips for preparing and navigating my activities in a practical and straightforward way.

Analyse and learn from your activity
I can’t imagine an outing without a detailed follow-up analysis in Land. Every route I complete is a valuable source of information. Analysing my tracks helps me better understand the area I’ve explored and plan future adventures there more effectively. When I get home, I switch on Land and the route automatically syncs to my computer. In less than a minute, I’m ready to analyse it. Let me show you several ways to analyse your route:
1. From the track properties
From the track properties window in Land, I can accurately analyse a wide range of data recorded during my activity, both overall and point by point.
By expanding each category, I can access detailed metrics such as total and partial distance, moving and stopped time, minimum and maximum altitude, total ascent and descent, average and maximum speed, pace, gradients, and many other values recorded by the device.
I’ll show you how to do it:
2. With colour gradient
Land includes a colour gradient function, which is very useful for interpreting your progress during the activity in a clear and highly visual way.
For example, if I select the ‘Pace’ property, Land will colour the track with a gradient based on the pace value recorded at each track point. The more intense the colour, the higher the pace in that section of the route.
As well as pace, you can use other values such as speed, altitude or gradient.
I’ll show you how to do it:
3. By sections
If you want to go a step further, you can also divide the track into sections to identify the most critical points and assess your performance in those parts—for example, sections with significant elevation gain, very slow pace or high altitude.
It’s a key tool for performance analysis and also for planning future routes in that area, taking into account which sections to avoid to prevent excessive effort.

Share your adventure
After planning your route in detail, completing it safely and analysing every piece of data, the best moment arrives: feeling proud and sharing your experience with other mountain enthusiasts.
1. Share your route with the TwoNav community
Surely, like me, you love sharing your achievements with friends and other mountain enthusiasts. Take advantage of the fact that your route is already uploaded to the TwoNav Cloud and share it with the rest of the TwoNav community.
That way, just as you did at the start of this training, other users will be able to discover the area you visited and use your track as a reference to visit the place.
I’ll show you how to do it:
2. Connect your routes to Strava, Komoot, Suunto and other platforms
If you also use one of these platforms, take the opportunity to link it to your TwoNav account. Once you do, your activities will be published automatically as soon as you finish your outing, without you having to worry about it. That way, all your followers can share in your best activities.
